Its been awhile since I write any reviews on concerts, movies or breaking through tracks. Blame my over rated life, hence I'd been quite lazy to do any reviews or even to write a blog.

On 21st of December, my plane (from Kota Bharu, Kelantan) landed in KLIA approximately around 11am and I reached Shah Alam at noon. Dropped my luggage, get ready for the showcase and out again at 1.30pm. Managed to go for wash and blow (yea, i have to say my hair wasnt in its best of shape that time), drove myself to Batu Tiga station and ditched my car there to take the Komuter (to avoid traffic and unsufficient amount of parking space). Still tired, yeah i didnt exactly get much rest when I was in Kelantan, I marched myself to The Annexe, Central Market. Arrived there pretty on time, hence I've got a seat at the back. Oh yea, supposely Wan tagged along, but her ride got delayed that day and failed to reach KL on time. Therefore, I flew solo that day.

Took place at The Annexe, Central Market; Imran Ajmain started the show with a song called Dia. It was an old track from Harvey Malaiholo. The song was simply beau-ti-ful! Well, being a totaly self-absorb and perasan, I was drooling the whole 5 minutes (or 4 minutes and 40 seconds to be exact) of that song and wishing it was dedicated to me (Lydia = LyDia = Dia, ya know what I mean). Haha, which so NOT! Next, Imran continues serenading us with Malu and Aku Bukan Untukmu (cover version of Rossa's).

Infinatez conquer the stage after that, belt out their souls on Ada Masa and Acapella Medleys: L.O.V.E and Cant Take My Eyes Off You. I was very amazed by their vocal harmonization, oh well.. I'd always adore their talent even when they were in Gangstars 2007. After the medleys, Imran joined Infinatez to perform What If (Babyface's), Digenggam Surga (Numata's), Dengan Senyummu (Radio's) and Why You Follow Me (Eric Benet's). Something that I noticed about Imran that day, well... known him since March 08, he'd always been friendly and yet can be pretty sturdy at a time. But on that day I found another side of him which I never saw that coming, he has a very cheeky persona! He's just simply adorable and witty doing his thing on stage which I cant help it to rose a smile for the entire 2 hours show. =)

Atilia entertained the crowd with her soulful voice on Selalu Denganmu and duet with Imran on Imran's ever famous piece, Seribu Tahun. The crowd went insane drowned with that song. haha. The duo didnt stop there, they continue to serenade the crowd with Georgy Porgy (Eric Benet/Faith Evans') and Butterflies (Floetry/Michael Jackson). I was stunned when Imran sang Dia (Sheila Majid's this time) because I always love that song, and its been pretty awhile tak dengar lagu tu. Love it! And next, Imran perfomed a piece from Bunga Citra Lestari's Pernah Muda.

Imran brought in a surprise guest, Shazzy on the stage. Oh wow, I haven't seen this guy for ages! The first time I saw him was many years ago when he'd just launch his hip hop album and after that he kapush from the scene. Great to see him back and haha, I always knew he's super good in playing the saxophone. Once again, the crowd gone crazy as Shazzy played his sexy saxophone tunes on Mahakarya Cinta (Faizal Tahir's). Oh, I was hypnotized by the tune~! And finally, Shazzy accompanied Imran on Selamat Ulang Tahun Sayang, Imran's latest single.

Oh wait, it did not stop there! Since Harvey Malaiholo's Dia been linger in Imran's head on that day, he sang it once again as encore. Haih, and now that song is stuck in my head! But I dont mind, I like that song.

As a conclusion, the showcase had been very successful and way beyond than what I expected. Two thumbs up for the team! =)

I reached home at 8pm (did some shopping for Adam Pilarczyk's birthday present) and helped my mom prepare the dinner. I didnt have much appetite that night because I was so exhausted. After cleared the table, I tertido kat living room and when my mom switched on the fan I woke up with a scream 'sejuuuuuuuuuuk!!!!'. Hence, I demam.. at least for the next 3 days followed with lack of appetite and diarrhea. Sigh.

p.s:
  1. Sorry the videos are a bit shaky, playing with distance and very exhausting hands.
  2. Have I told you this entire showcase had been accompanied by a 5 piece band??? Stunning!
  3. Ohya, honestly.. is my name hard to pronounce if I tell you verbally? Because what happen was, after I snapped picture with the band (Infinatez), Alvin asked me for my name. I said 'Lydia' and he was like 'Nidia?' and I was like 'no, Lydia' and he's like 'Vidya?' and I was like 'Ly-di-a' and he was like 'Nidia?!' and I end up with 'haih, Lydia Wati!' and then he goes 'oooooh, Lydiaaaaaa'. Hahhaha. I wasn't pissed, but it just striked me to wonder... is the name Lydia hard to pronounce? Hehe. Nice to meet u guys too~!
  4. Imran Ajmain is among the people who can make me look slightly petite in pictures. We shall make more picture together next time! haha

Last week I spent the whole week lepaking at my cousin's place in Bachok, Kelantan. Well, the trip had been planned for months dimana me, my brother, my sister and opah to fly to Kelantan for holiday/visiting my relatives there. The first mistake I made was at the airport. Actually I planned to withdraw my money at the airport, but that particular morning.. i tertinggal my ATM card in the other purse. haih. So, there goes my trip.. with a very minimal pocket money.

Coincidentally, my aunt baru terseliuh kaki... memandangkan I'm the only next-of-kin that has a valid license driver (besides my aunt n uncle) there, where so ever we wanna go (or i wanna go) i have to drive the Unser, which is sooo cooool! I always thinks the bigger rides, the better for me.

The 2nd day we're in Kelantan, I drove the whole lot to Pantai Bachok where we had picnic by the beach. The place have evolved somehow, ever since the last time I came to Kelantan (which is like 6 years ago). They have build wakaf so ppl can lepak there under the shades.

And we practically spent the whole afternoon flying the kites and jumping all around at the beach mcm monyet. We were warned not to mandi laut because of the musim tengkujuh and the tide was pretty un-cool that time. But we're happy~!

And after that, Izzat brought us to see his little kambing that he called.... Mek.
The second day in Kelantan, its the day out for my siblings and the fellow cousins; Alief, Lan, Nanin and Izzat. Its time for the youth to have some fun! Well, judging from the land that we're on that time, you cannot expect la to hv much things there. Therefore, the bowling in KB Mall will do! And after that, we did some shopping in Tesco there... at least I can get most of my essentials of what I wanna cook there. I scored some time to do some shopping stuffs for Alief's birthday surprise.

Third day in Kelantan, we all went to my late grandfather's younger sister, Opah Ngah's place in Pasir Putih. I brought Apple Crumble (serves with Vanilla Ice-Cream, perfect for sunny day!) there and it left into crumbs in within 5 mins! Oh yea and I also made kerabu mangga/kerabu pauh as what they called there for lunch. We spent the entire afternoon at my Opah Ngah's house and headed home when it approach dawn. And we called the day off. And later that evening, we had surprise birthday party for Alief. Well, tak sempat nak buat cake pon. So, candles on roti canai pon jadi la. haha. But it was one heck of birth day surprise!!!

Fourth day in Kelantan, we visited Opah Ngah's son, Uncle Sham (who is also my mom's cousin) who lives in Kota Bharu. I brought my ever famous Carrot Cake and T-Gee brought her signature Moist Chocolate Cake. The house was such a breathtaking! I adore the architectural of the house and how well it been decorated. And I found this so funny, it feels like baru je lagi diorang ni kawin... tau-tau he has 4 sons now and the eldest is older t han my sister! waaaa... aku rasa macam da tuaaaaa~! During my rendezvous at Uncle Sham's place, suddenly my cam turn weird and displayed Memory Card Error. There goes all my pictures and videos, gone! That is why there is no pictures for 2nd-4th day as they kapush with the Memory Card. I ended the day with a feeling of devastetad.

Fifth day in Kelantan, that morning I have to call my mom to tell her my memory card hassle. And I have no choice but to tell her about my ATM thingy as well, because I already short of cash. After some money transfer, we decided to knock ourselves out for fishing in Machang. Uncle Wan (the father of my cousins) was rushing out that morning and b rought the Unser. So, I have no choice but to use the Kancil. Urgh, can u imagine all 7 of us - badan sihat belaka in one small white old Kancil? That fishing place is like 2 squares of paddy field, one for Air Tawar and one for Air Masin. After half an hour of journey, I dropped the kids at the fishing place and headed to Kota Bharu to get a new memory card for my camera.

After 4 times attempted of 'almost' dapat ikan, we headed home as the sky turn dark. That evening, uncle sham and family came for dinner.
And look, I found a very old picture of Lan, Alief and Nanin when they were much.. erm... innocent! hahahah

The sixth day in Kelantan, its SHOPPING day! We were out the whole day to buy keropok ikan, keropok lekor, wild mushroom, serunding, kain batik, kaftans and souvenirs. We crashed Pasar Siti Khadijah and get a very good deals!

And when arrived home, we gotta nibs some of the things that we never tried before. These combination enough to make gas ammonia untuk meletupkan rumah Borat kat Kazakhstan.

That evening, I kena jugak tunaikan my promise to T-Gee to make the lasagna and lotus tofu. Lasagna had always been T-Gee's favourite and I practically made for her every Hari Raya. Only this year I changed my mind and made Shepperd's Pie instead on Raya. Why it is so important for me to cook? Here a lil' thing bout T-Gee. She's my mom's younger sister, therefore she's an uptown girl since born. After STPM she pursued English in Scotland and live there for about 6 years. She came back and few years after that she got married to a pure Kelantanese, Uncle Wan, who jati diri melayunye sangat la kuat. Couple of years ago they moved to Kelantan and be a permenant resident to an area that can be consider 'ceruk rantau'. Therefore, I cook to feed my aunt-Gee's inner soul. Haha.

The seventh day in Kelantan, which also our last day there. We say bye-bye to the house, papaya, goat and Kelantan as my flight depart at 9.30am. Sigh, my bro tertinggal one of the hand luggage at the airport and aunt-Gee was super nice to pos-laju-kan the luggage. =)
I had so much fun there, and T-Gee's family are the best relatives I ever had (I'm not being bias, but relatives yg dekat pon mcm hampeh je.. jumpe time raya je =.="). Their hospitality is superb, tho' Alief demam and T-Gee terseliuh kaki... they still know how to have fun! That's the spirit I admire so much, the spirit of Family. Too bad diorang stay jauh. No worry, dalam 2 tahun ni kitorang bawak opah datang lagi! May Allah will always bless this family with joy and happiness.

I'm bored, though I reserved myself from doing my thesis correction, I'm still bored.

I'm jobless

My father restrain myself from going out since I'm jobless

My money is decreasing everyday

I'm anxious

The seeking maid process is such a pest

I cut my finger when i cook just now

I'm fat

I figured out I'm not that friendly, thus I have a very limited friends

Somehow once in while i felt betrayed

I feel lost

I feel lonely at the mo

I dont have a boyfriend

I dont know if I should get a boyfriend

I just hate to clean up my room at the moment

I'm feeling freaking miserable

I'm drowning deeply in this emotion time by time

People says I think too much

People says I complain much

I know this may drive me to a very dreadful depression

I'm sadistic

I'm psychotic

I changed my blog template to pink

I hated pink

I hate pink

I'm gonna hate pink

Wth, I'm just fucking bored!

It's time to blog again!

Firstly, I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Rudy and Intan, they both had just get hitched on Nov 15th, 2008. OMG, I cant believe u guys dah kawin!!! and I'm so happy for u guys! Smoga bahagia ke anak cucu. =)

Tersentuh skejap tengok gamba nie. =)

For the past one week I'd been pretty busy preparing myself for the ultimate thesis presentation which I proudly announce had been held last Friday. Oh well, cant really tell if it was good because i know... its BAD! But i don't bloody care, I am just glad its over. And I hope I don't have to repeat this semester again!

And for the past one week, ironically.. 4 out of 7 days people had been discussing wedding bells with me. The story started because last week was the final week of me being an undergrad student in my uni. And some makcik in the Haemodialysis Unit (where my father done his 3 times a week routine dialysis) reckoned that I'm gonna get married in this mere of time. Don't worry makcik, I will pray for your good health and I'm pretty sure u akan sampai juge ke my wedding, kelak. But what I know, my wedding lambat lagi. I have set several goals to achieve before I can get married.
  1. I must have a secured job with a good income.
  2. I must obtain my MBA. (come on la, lepas kawin nnt sure susah punye kalo nak blaja balik)
  3. I must have a car, under my own name. (hopefully by end of next year i can achieve this one)
  4. I must have a unit of house/apartment/condo/flat, also under my name.
These are my 4 personal essentials/conditions/goals before I can tie the knot. And this is why I kata I akan kawin LAMBAT lagi!

I cant believe I could give a tutor using SMS. Haha. Alex had been asking me to help him out with his proposal preparation through this week before he could present it to the examiners. Oh, Alex is a junior of mine and oh boy, I had never been asked such number of questions regarding multiplex PCR before, not even from my examiner. One thing for sure he is such a high determine kiddo! And aku yg penat kena explain kat dia through sms panjang berjela.

Nasib baik dia nie baik dan comel. =)

Getting a new maid seems live forever. So I'm trying to get used to cooking in the house every now and then. Last Tuesday, my mom sent my sister a note to ask me to cook Masak Lemak Rebung, Ayam Percik and make sambal belacan-tempoyak. To tell you the truth, I had never cook Masak Lemak before (though now I know how freaking easy it is) and its been ages since the last time my Opah taught me how to cook Ayam Percik.

As a result, voila~! I cant believe it taste alright. As the matter of fact, my parents were so pleased with the food (which leads to several days of discussing wedding bells =.="). Not bad aye my hand?

Remember I told you how baking could calm me down? My mom had been planning for oh-so-many weeks to make Tiramisu, and I'd been searching the Mascarpone cheese for high and low and finally I've decided to get it at The Cold Storage. Biasanye, if my mom says she's so excited to do something... u dont get fooled by that, biasanye I yg end up kena buat. So there I go, 3pm on Sunday afternoon in the kitchen. The egg whites and sugar were whip till it silky smooth. The cake had been sliced equally. The coffee had been made to perfecto. And things starting to get hay-wire the moment I poured in the whipped cream. Damn, the cream just dont want to fluff! So I stop to whip and add the Mascarpone cheese. And things are getting worst. The texture seems to gradually curdled. Oh, that is bad. Something I know bout whipped cream, if it turns up curdled - meaning it had been over-whipped and nothing can be done anymore. Damn, so there goes my Tiramisu. =.=" Enough this thing make me heartache for at least 2 hours, bengang giler.

It may look like shit, but it taste not bad. Tunggu la Malaysia, aku akan buat till perfecto!

So just now my mom asked me to make fried chicken (the usual tumeric seasoning) for dinner. But I dont know why, I have this experimenting mood. I've decided to make fried chicken ala KFC, where I ground the spices from scratch. And of course la I tengok buku but I've done some modification in the recipe (bak kata Puan Rozila - my food microbe lecturer, it is called "optimization") and it turns out to be not that bad! It doesnt taste like KFC so much, but it is still hmmm good. I was happy when my father and my sister berebut for the last piece, I take that as a complement. And now my father asked me to learn how to cook more because my 'air tangan' is consider good. Hear that? My 'air tangan' is good. =)

Yesterday Zul SMSed me that he figured it out how to tackle a girl's heart. Zul is my good friend in uni, my classmate infact. A so-called hearthrob to ramai gadis in my class (tempat lain juge), and he's much like a big brother to me.

Zul wrote: I dont know how much dia (his working colleague) suka kat I. But her attitude da jauh berubah dari mula kenal dulu. Dulu if org kenenkan kitorang, dia marah. Skarang, dia senyum2 je. Banyak lagi la. And all I did just listen to her probs, her ambitions, her hobbies - and then shows her everything that she told me. And I always could guess her mood. If she looks moody and I ask her why, she will look very happy when I noticed and ask her. Boley apply kat gurl lain tak?

I replied: Well generally, female memang suka orang caring macam tu. To a woman, a man who listens n remember details (walopon detail tu tak important), to a woman ia agak bermakna jugak la. So, not surprise la if she terpikat kat Zul. Haha.

Orang tua-tua kata, kalo nak pikat hati laki... mesti dari perutnye. Betul ke?

Tepuk dada, tanye selera... nak Kuey Teow Goreng Kerang or nak Char Kuey Teow? =p

Its 12.50am and I'm waiting for my hair to dry. I figured out, perhaps I can scribble something in here.

Life had been same ol', it seems like forever for my family to get the new maid. So, for the time being AKU LAH SURI RUMAHTANGGA SEPENUH MASA itu. Still.. juggling with the fact I need to work out more than twice a week at the gym.

Talk about gym, my abdomen is still sore from working out with Nurul last Wednesday. Whenever I laugh or cough, my tummy will hurt like crazy. I wonder what went wrong.

Yesterday when I was accompanied my sister and her friend to watch High School Musical 3 (I know, stop laughing!), I received a text message from Wan regarding my viva/presentation. My examiner will be Puan Fatimah Corazon Abdullah. Damn, even by saying her name boley menakutkan aku. Inikan lagi dapat dia as my examiner. Habis la akuuuuu~!

I'm running out of word. And my hair is dry enough. Toodles~!

ske ati aku le, aku ske pussycat dolls! aku nak jadi kurus mcm pussycat dolls!

What do ya know... I thought its impossible to complete my thesis within these few days (due to the so last minute data/result), but i totally rock it! Yea, despite the fact I had to stay up more than 40 hours.. it was all done and I already passed it to the coordinator. Though my lecturer end up calling me 4.30pm because she wanna discuss about my correction (lambat giler call aku, baik tak payah.. coordinator pon balik kul 5pm. giler nk suruh aku buat correction?) i felt relieve, like big burden had just lifted out of my head. Well, there's still little burden left, since my viva presentation is in next week. Well.. what the heck?

Last week had been a super crazy week. From failing my multiplex pcr (for 10th time?) to the return of my exes, it was infact the craziest thing ever. From my previous blog I did left out the scene of Ex#1 actually hold my hand tight that evening and said how he miss me much, hahaha.. goosebumps!!!

Special note to my exes (or bakal ex): if u guys dump me, I dont mind being fren with u guys after that (plz gimmie couple of years to clear my head first, of course). But... tolong la after that few years tu, tolong la JANGAN muncul kembali dengan tiba-tiba dan merayu nak couple balik macam tu. Not nice la. I mean, it was hard when u guys dump me... and guess what, I'd moved on. Korang buat camtu menjadikan aku sakit jiwa je.

Ah.. I'm gonna take some time off for the next couple of days. I'm tired, very tired. Sapa bley tolong urut nieh? =p

How bizarre! Yesterday my first ex (Ex#1) texted me saying that he's in Bangi and will be in Shah Alam today, invited me to hang out since its been awhile we didnt see each other and we bet we hv loads of catching up to do. (we haven't reach the bizarre part yet)

Story behind Ex#1
Knew back in early 2004 when we both were part-timer at the local fast food franchise. Seperated in October 2004, he sorta left me back then. 2 years after that he texted me to wish me birthday and since that I hold the grudge no more and we became friends. Somewhere in 2007, he get a job in Penang and moved there. But seriously, we barely keep in touch and practically text each other less than 5 times a year (including Raya and birthdays).

When I was on my way to the venue that we (me andEx#1) set, I received a text message from someone... er.. someone I hope he'd die far far. I received an sms from my second ex (Ex#2). The message sounded like this:-

Hi Lydia, **** ni. u still mrh kt i lg ke? i mintak maaf ape yg i wat kat u. I nk kawan balik ngan u. susah tul i nak carik balik no. u ni. plz accept me back. i miss u. really.

I was like.. wat the fuck?

Story behind Ex#2
We were friends back in highschool and he was my highschool bestie's bf. After highschool, their (my bestie and Ex#2) relationship collapse, but I still be friends to both party - until my bestie end up to be such a nasty biatch. So, me and Ex#2 used to hang alot since then and decided to bring the relationship to another level (konon). Few months after that he dump me (2005), over my room-mate. He told my friends 'we (me and Ex#2) didnt declare' and my room-mate told my friends 'mana la tau.. dah dia yang nak kat aku'. Ever since that i wish him to just go die.. far far. And I didnt commit any relationship ever since then.

How bizarre! The evening I'm about to do some catch up with Ex#1, the same time Ex#2 texted me! Its like.. both of them are from my past, and both of them were... thinking about me at the same time?! Bizarre kan? kan? I've decided to go meet Ex#1 first before I could make any decission about the Ex#2. Memeningkan kepala je.

I had a great time meeting Ex#1, we were like bunch of school kids gossiping and updating and kutuking each other like no body business. Yeah, its been a year since he moved to Penang. Surprising, he said he has not get involve in any serious relationship after we split. Another part I felt honored. Well.. I know Ex#1 is a great guy, but enough that he knows I dont have any feelings towards him anymore, and I know he dont have any feelings towards me too (I think so).

I came back, i felt a huge pain on my head again when I have to face my handphone. Well... Something I'd learnt from Alfred many months ago, just let go. Yang sudah tu sudah. So I've decided to forgive Ex#2 since syawal is still around. Ya know, my friend adviced me to torcher him like mad since he sorta mess up with me last time. But then, aku terfikir... if I hate people, I dont torcher them... i just leave them. Make people suffer is not my style at all. So, he sorta safe in that part alright. But I guess replying his message wasnt a good move, because here comes series of apologizing, reconcilation, and begging to restart the relationship. Damn. What makes he think I wanna accept him back? He's a jerk, for God sake!

Kenapa la mereka begini. Dahsyat nye hidup aku malam nie!

p.s: aku masih lagi terasa nak bakar Merak hidup-hidup sampai dia rentung, memandangkan dia bagi no. tepon aku kat Ex#2 and now he's haunting me!
